19 The Mighty God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should be sorry. Has He said, and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken, and shall He not make it good?

1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, being devoted to corrupting spirits and doctrines of demons,

2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared,

3 forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be partaken with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.

16 These six things Jehovah hates; yea, seven are an abomination to his soul:

17 Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,

18 a heart that devises evil plans, feet hurrying to run to evil,

19 a false witness who breathes lies, and he who spreads strife among brothers.

44 You are of the devil as your father, and the lusts of your father you purpose to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own, for he is a liar and the father of it.

16 You shall not testify a witness of falsehood against your neighbor.

7 He who works deceit shall not dwell within my house; he who tells lies shall not be established in my sight.

11 You shall not steal, nor deceive, nor lie to one another.

9 Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his practices,

10 and have put on the new man who is renewed in full true knowledge according to the image of the One who created him,

6 The acquisition of treasures by a lying tongue is a vanity driven about by those who seek death.

1 Do not keep silent, O God of my praise!

2 For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful have opened against me; they have spoken against me with a lying tongue.

22 Lying lips are an abomination to Jehovah, but those who deal in faithfulness are His delight.

13 The remnant of Israel shall not do injustice, nor speak lies. And a deceitful tongue shall not be found in their mouth. For they shall feed and lie down, and no one shall make them afraid.

5 A faithful witness does not lie, but a false witness speaks lies.

14 But if you have bitter envy and contention in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth.

25 Therefore, putting away lying, let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor, for we are members of one another.

15 But outside are dogs and sorcerers and prostitutes and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and produces a lie.

7 Excellent speech is not befitting a fool; much less lying lips a prince.
