13 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.
24 Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.
25 And everyone who competes for the prize controls himself in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we an imperishable.
26 Therefore I run in this manner: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air.
27 But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.
6 Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for Jehovah your God, He is the One who is going with you. He will not abandon you nor forsake you.
23 And whatever you do, do it from the soul, as to the Lord and not to men,
13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.
10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might; for there is no work nor reasoning nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol where you go.
13 I have strength for all things in Christ who strengthens me.
29 He gives power to the faint; and to him with no strength, He increases might.
30 Even the young shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall be feeble and stumble;
31 but those who wait upon Jehovah shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have laid hold; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and stretching forward to those things which are ahead,
14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
11 For I know the thoughts which I am planning for you, says Jehovah; thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so persistently harasses us, and let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us,
2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
3 For consider Him who endured such opposition from sinners against Himself, that you not become weary and faint in your souls.
29 And do not seek what you shall eat or what you shall drink, nor be agitated.
30 For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things.
7 A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you.
19 Go therefore and instruct all the nations, immersing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 teaching them to observe all things whatever I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen.
10 For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone does not desire to work, neither shall he eat.
11 For we hear that there are some who walk among you in a disorderly manner, not working at all, but are busybodies.
12 Now those who are such we command and exhort through our Lord Jesus Christ that they work in quietness and eat their own bread.
13 But as for you, brethren, do not grow weary in doing good.
10 I will greatly rejoice in Jehovah, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for He has clothed me with the garment of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness like a bridegroom adorns himself with ornaments, and like a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
