8 My son, hear the instruction of your father, and do not forsake the law of your mother;
9 for they shall be an ornament of grace to your head, and chains around your neck.
26 He who assaults his father and chases away his mother is a son who causes shame and brings reproach.
24 The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice; and he who begets a wise child shall be glad because of him.
6 Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
11 If a son asks for bread from any father among you, he will not give him a stone, will he? Or if he asks for a fish, he will not give him a serpent instead of a fish, will he?
12 Or if he asks for an egg, he will not give him a scorpion, will he?
13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the Heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him.
15 And if it seems evil to you to serve Jehovah, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers have served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my house, we will serve Jehovah.
16 Fathers shall not be put to death for their sons, nor shall the sons be put to death for their fathers; every man shall be put to death for his own sin.
6 Childrens children are the crown of old men, and the glory of children are their fathers.
4 And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and admonition of the Lord.
3 Behold, children are a heritage from Jehovah, the fruit of the womb is a reward.
4 Like arrows in the hand of a mighty man, so are the sons of ones youth.
5 Blessed is the man who has his quiver full of them; they shall not be ashamed, but shall speak with their enemies in the gate.
15 The rod and rebuke give wisdom, but a lad set loose brings shame to his mother.
1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
2 Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with promise:
3 that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.
12 Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which Jehovah your God is giving you.
6 And these Words which I am commanding you today shall be in your heart.
7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.
8 But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
22 Listen to your father who begot you, and do not despise your mother when she is old.
20 Whoever curses his father or his mother, his lamp shall be put out in deep darkness.
21 Fathers, do not provoke your children, that they may not become discouraged.
24 Therefore a man, leaving his father and mother, and having cleaved to his wife, they are one flesh.
24 He who withholds the rod hates his son, but he who loves him chastens him promptly.
4 But if any widow has children or grandchildren, let them first learn to show piety at home and to repay their parents; for this is good and acceptable before God.
1 The proverbs of Solomon: A wise son makes a father rejoice, but a foolish son is a grief to his mother.
7 If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not discipline?
20 Children, obey your parents in all things, for this is pleasing to the Lord.
