7 Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be cut off.
13 Watch, stand fast in the faith, be like men, be strong.
10 For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone does not desire to work, neither shall he eat.
8 But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is debauchery; but be filled by the Spirit,
19 For I have known him, in order that he may command his children and his house after him, that they may keep the way of Jehovah, to do righteousness and justice, that Jehovah may bring upon Abraham what He has spoken to him.
19 Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter towards them.
2 An overseer then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, well ordered, hospitable, able to teach;
3 not a drunkard, not violent, not greedy for money, but fair-minded, not quarrelsome, not loving money;
4 one who rules his own house well, having his children in subjection with all respect
4 And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and admonition of the Lord.
25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,
23 And whatever you do, do it from the soul, as to the Lord and not to men,
