17 A horse is a vain thing for safety; neither shall he provide escape by his great strength.
18 Behold, the eye of Jehovah is upon those who fear Him, on those who hope in His mercy;
19 to deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.
17 And you will be hated by all because of My name.
18 But not a hair of your head shall at all perish.
19 By your steadfastness possess your souls.
17 There will I make the horn of David sprout; I have set in place a lamp for My anointed.
18 His enemies will I clothe with shame, but his crown shall sparkle.
19 If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land.
20 But if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured with the sword; for the mouth of Jehovah has spoken.
3 But You, O Jehovah, are a shield for me; my glory, the One who lifts up my head.
22 Cast your burden upon Jehovah, and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to totter.
1 Unless Jehovah builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless Jehovah guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.
1 Blessed is Jehovah my Rock, who teaches my hands for war, and my fingers for battle;
2 my goodness and my stronghold, my refuge and my deliverer, my shield and the One in whom I trust, who subdues my people under me.
15 I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil.
8 It is better to trust in Jehovah than to put confidence in man.
6 So we may boldly say: The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?
1 Watch over me, O Mighty God, for in You I put my trust.
1 Watch over me, O Mighty God, for in You I put my trust.
14 Jehovah will fight for you, and you shall keep silent.
8 Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me. But you say, How have we robbed You? In the tithe and the offering.
9 You are cursed with a curse, for you have robbed Me, even this whole nation.
10 Bring all the tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now with this, says Jehovah of Hosts, whether I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour out a blessing until there is not enough room to store it.
6 For Jehovah gives wisdom; out of His mouth come knowledge and understanding.
7 He lays up sound wisdom for the upright; a shield to those who walk in integrity,
8 to guard the paths of judgment; and He keeps watch over the way of His saints.
30 As for the Mighty God, His way is perfect; the Word of Jehovah is tested; He is a shield to all those who trust in Him.
1 I lift up my eyes from hill to hill. From where does my help come?
2 My help comes from Jehovah, who made the heavens and the earth.
3 He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber.
4 Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5 Jehovah is your keeper; Jehovah is your shade at your right hand.
6 The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night.
7 Jehovah shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul.
8 Jehovah shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore.
29 Now therefore, let it please You to bless the house of Your servant, that it may continue forever before You; for You, O Lord Jehovah, have spoken it, and with Your blessing let the house of Your servant be blessed forever.
32 For who is the Mighty God, except Jehovah? And who is a rock, except our God?
17 No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment, you shall condemn. This is the inheritance of the servants of Jehovah, and their righteousness is from Me, says Jehovah.
12 Of Benjamin he said: The beloved of Jehovah shall dwell in safety by Him, who shelters him all the day long; and he shall dwell between His shoulders.
8 Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.
19 Blessed is the Lord who day by day bears our burdens, the Mighty God of our salvation! Selah.
3 You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You; because he trusts in You.
6 And David put garrisons in Syria of Damascus; and the Syrians became Davids servants, and brought tribute. And Jehovah gave victory to David wherever he went.
19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
7 who executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry. Jehovah lets loose the prisoners.
8 Jehovah opens the eyes of the blind; Jehovah raises those who are bowed down; Jehovah loves the righteous.
9 Jehovah watches over the sojourners; He relieves the fatherless and widow; but the way of the wicked He turns upside down.
7 Surely the Lord Jehovah will do nothing unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.
1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of Jehovah, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him will I trust.
26 In the fear of Jehovah is strong confidence, and His children shall have a place of refuge.
22 And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight.
3 But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil.
31 The horse is prepared for the day of battle, but deliverance is from Jehovah.
8 Jehovah will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Jehovah, is eternal; do not forsake the works of Your hands.
6 Righteousness guards the one whose way is perfect, but wickedness subverts the sinner.
2 He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my stronghold; I shall not be greatly moved.
18 Thus you shall do My statutes and keep My judgments, and do them; and you shall dwell in the land in safety.
9 Jehovah also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of distress.
11 For Jehovah God is a sun and shield; Jehovah will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk in integrity.
8 And I have been with you wherever you have gone, and have cut off all your enemies before you, and have made you a name like the name of the great ones of the earth.
10 The young lions lack and suffer hunger; but those who seek Jehovah shall not lack any good thing.
11 Do not withhold Your tender mercies from me, O Jehovah; let Your lovingkindness and Your truth continually keep watch over me.
10 The name of Jehovah is a strong tower; the righteous one runs into it and is safe.
10 The name of Jehovah is a strong tower; the righteous one runs into it and is safe.
7 A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you.
10 You who love Jehovah, hate evil! He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.
18 We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the evil does not touch him.
7 Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
8 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
16 You open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing.
11 Put on all the armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
11 And now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I am coming to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are.
12 While I was with them in the world, I cared for them in Your name. Those whom You gave Me I have guarded; and not one of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.
11 But let all those who put their trust in You rejoice; let them always shout for joy, because You defend them. And let those who love Your name be joyful in You.
12 For You, O Jehovah, will bless the righteous; with favor You will surround him as with a shield.
10 the One who gives deliverance to kings; who rescues David His servant from the evil sword.
11 But the king shall rejoice in God; everyone who swears by Him shall glory; but the mouth of those who speak lies shall be stopped.
23 Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life.
27 The God of old is your refuge, and underneath are the eternal arms. He will thrust out the enemy before you, and say, Destroy!
1 Jehovah is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? Jehovah is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
7 For the king trusts in Jehovah, and through the mercy of the Most High he shall not be moved.
8 Your hand shall find out all Your enemies; Your right hand shall find out those who hate You.
9 You shall make them as a fiery oven in the time of Your presence; Jehovah will swallow them up in His wrath, and the fire shall devour them.
1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
25 The righteous eats to the satisfying of his soul, but the belly of the wicked shall lack.
4 Sing unto God, make music unto His name; exalt Him who rides in the wilderness by His name YAH, and rejoice before Him.
5 In His holy dwelling God is a father to the fatherless, and a judge for the widows.
22 Jehovah redeems the soul of His servants; and none of those who trust in Him shall be held guilty.
5 Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him.
5 Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him.
11 Put on all the armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against rulers, against authorities, against the worlds rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual wickedness in the heavenlies.
8 I have set Jehovah always before Me; because He is at My right hand, I shall not be moved.
8 I have set Jehovah always before Me; because He is at My right hand, I shall not be moved.
5 As birds flying, so Jehovah of Hosts will defend Jerusalem; also defending, He will deliver it; and passing over He will preserve it.
17 Learn to do good, seek justice, set straight the oppressor, judge for the orphan, plead for the widow.
7 Jehovah is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him.
8 I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; for You alone, Jehovah, make me dwell in safety.
8 I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; for You alone, Jehovah, make me dwell in safety.
10 For the love of money is a root of all evils, for which some being greedy, have strayed from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
3 Trust in Jehovah, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on faithfulness.
1 O Jehovah, how my adversaries have increased! Many are they who rise up against me.
2 Many are saying of my soul, There is no deliverance for him in God. Selah.
3 But You, O Jehovah, are a shield for me; my glory, the One who lifts up my head.
4 I cried unto Jehovah with my voice, and He heard me out of His holy hill. Selah.
5 I lay down and slept. I awoke, for Jehovah sustained me.
6 I am not afraid of ten thousands of people who have set themselves against me all around.
4 He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
1 Jehovah is my Shepherd; I shall not want.
35 You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; and Your right hand has held me up, and Your meekness has made me great.
36 You enlarged the place for my steps under me, so that my feet have not slipped.
25 I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
6 Jehovah is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?
6 I have called upon You, for You hear me, O Mighty God; extend Your ear to me, and hear my speech.
7 Set apart Your wonderful lovingkindness, O You who by Your right hand saves those who trust in You, from those who rise up against me.
8 Keep me as the pupil of the eye; hide me under the shadow of Your wings,
9 from the face of the wicked who have devastated me; from the enemies of my soul who surround me.
26 For Jehovah shall be at your side, and He shall keep your foot from being caught.
20 Keep my soul, and deliver me; let me not be ashamed, for I put my trust in You.
21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I have waited upon You.
6 Jehovah protects the simple; I was brought low, and He saved me.
7 Return to your rest, O my soul, for Jehovah has dealt bountifully with you.
8 For You have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, and my feet from stumbling.
9 I will walk before Jehovah in the land of the living.
114 You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your Word.
9 He who walks in integrity walks securely, but he who perverts his ways shall be found out.
12 A prudent person foresees the evil and hides himself, but the simple pass on and are punished.
35 And He said to them, When I sent you without money bag, knapsack, and sandals, did you lack anything? And they said, Nothing.
14 Even so the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should live from the gospel.
7 The Angel of Jehovah encamps round about those who fear Him, and rescues them.
29 Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them shall fall to the ground without your Father.
30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
31 Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.
6 Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.
31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
9 Because you have made Jehovah, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place,
10 no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
7 You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from distress; You shall enclose me with shouts of deliverance. Selah.
7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
11 Thus I have established My covenant with you: Never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of a flood; never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth.
16 But I will sing of Your power; yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning; for You have been my stronghold and refuge in the day of my distress.
13 I have strength for all things in Christ who strengthens me.
11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in Heaven give good things to those who ask Him!
10 I am Jehovah your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt; open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.
26 And I will make them and the places all around My hill a blessing; and I will cause showers to come down in their season; there shall be showers of blessing.
14 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked from Him.
25 For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have satisfied every sorrowful soul.
6 Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for Jehovah your God, He is the One who is going with you. He will not abandon you nor forsake you.
33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
1 May Jehovah answer you in the day of distress, and the name of the God of Jacob set you securely on high,
2 sending you help from the sanctuary, and sustaining you out of Zion.
12 For wisdom is a defense, and money is a defense; but the excellence of knowledge is, that wisdom gives life to those who have it.
22 And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.
20 Our soul waits for Jehovah; He is our help and our shield.
4 even to your old age, I am He; and to the gray hairs I will bear you. I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.
