15 In Thy hand [are] my times, Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, And from my pursuers.
7 I fell also to the ground, and I heard a voice saying to me, Saul, Saul, why me dost thou persecute?
10 Happy those persecuted for righteousness sake -- because theirs is the reign of the heavens.
11 Happy are ye whenever they may reproach you, and may persecute, and may say any evil thing against you falsely for my sake --
8 Be sober, vigilant, because your opponent the devil, as a roaring lion, doth walk about, seeking whom he may swallow up,
35 Who shall separate us from the love of the Christ? tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
22 Happy are ye when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you, and shall reproach, and shall cast forth your name as evil, for the Son of Mans sake --
10 wherefore I am well pleased in infirmities, in damages, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses -- for Christ; for whenever I am infirm, then I am powerful;
44 but I -- I say to you, Love your enemies, bless those cursing you, do good to those hating you, and pray for those accusing you falsely, and persecuting you,
4 Also -- when I walk in a valley of death-shade, I fear no evil, for Thou [art] with me, Thy rod and Thy staff -- they comfort me.
18 if the world doth hate you, ye know that it hath hated me before you;
29 And Jesus answering said, Verily I say to you, there is no one who left house, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or fields, for my sake, and for the good news,
30 who may not receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brothers, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and fields, with persecutions, and in the age that is coming, life age-during;
12 and all also who will to live piously in Christ Jesus shall be persecuted,
14 Bless those persecuting you; bless, and curse not;
