Homem
5 Thus said Jehovah: Cursed [is] the man who doth trust in man, And hath made flesh his arm, And from Jehovah whose heart turneth.
1 Man, born of woman! Of few days, and full of trouble!
1 An aged person thou mayest not rebuke, but be entreating as a father; younger persons as brethren;
17 What [is] man that Thou dost magnify him? And that Thou settest unto him Thy heart?
15 the enmity in his flesh, the law of the commands in ordinances having done away, that the two he might create in himself into one new man, making peace,
45 so also it hath been written, The first man Adam became a living creature, the last Adam [is] for a life-giving spirit,
46 but that which is spiritual [is] not first, but that which [was] natural, afterwards that which [is] spiritual.
47 The first man [is] out of the earth, earthy; the second man [is] the Lord out of heaven;
48 as [is] the earthy, such [are] also the earthy; and as [is] the heavenly, such [are] also the heavenly;
49 and, according as we did bear the image of the earthy, we shall bear also the image of the heavenly.
6 and one in a certain place did testify fully, saying, What is man, that Thou art mindful of him, or a son of man, that Thou dost look after him?
7 for let not that man suppose that he shall receive anything from the Lord --
8 a two-souled man [is] unstable in all his ways.
24 From Jehovah [are] the steps of a man, And man -- how understandeth he his way?
26 And God saith, Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness, and let them rule over fish of the sea, and over fowl of the heavens, and over cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that is creeping on the earth.
27 And God prepareth the man in His image; in the image of God He prepared him, a male and a female He prepared them.
1 Of man [are] arrangements of the heart, And from Jehovah an answer of the tongue.
8 And they hear the sound of Jehovah God walking up and down in the garden at the breeze of the day, and the man and his wife hide themselves from the face of Jehovah God in the midst of the trees of the garden.
11 and thou, O man of God, these things flee, and pursue righteousness, piety, faith, love, endurance, meekness;
21 For over-against the eyes of Jehovah are the ways of each, And all his paths He is pondering.
11 When I was a babe, as a babe I was speaking, as a babe I was thinking, as a babe I was reasoning, and when I have become a man, I have made useless the things of the babe;
22 ye are to put off concerning the former behaviour the old man, that is corrupt according to the desires of the deceit,
23 and to be renewed in the spirit of your mind,
24 and to put on the new man, which, according to God, was created in righteousness and kindness of the truth.
17 Is mortal man than God more righteous? Than his Maker is a man cleaner?
12 because of this, even as through one man the sin did enter into the world, and through the sin the death; and thus to all men the death did pass through, for that all did sin;
