11 in all might being made mighty according to the power of His glory, to all endurance and long-suffering with joy.
17 And signs shall accompany those believing these things; in my name demons they shall cast out; with new tongues they shall speak;
18 serpents they shall take up; and if any deadly thing they may drink, it shall not hurt them; on the ailing they shall lay hands, and they shall be well.
7 for God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind;
13 For all things I have strength, in Christs strengthening me;
20 for not in word is the reign of God, but in power?
10 As to the rest, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might;
12 for the reckoning of God is living, and working, and sharp above every two-edged sword, and piercing unto the dividing asunder both of soul and spirit, of joints also and marrow, and a discerner of thoughts and intents of the heart;
19 lo, I give to you the authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and on all the power of the enemy, and nothing by any means shall hurt you;
12 Verily, verily, I say to you, he who is believing in me, the works that I do -- that one also shall do, and greater than these he shall do, because I go on to my Father;
7 be subject, then, to God; stand up against the devil, and he will flee from you;
8 but ye shall receive power at the coming of the Holy Spirit upon you, and ye shall be witnesses to me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and Samaria, and unto the end of the earth.
39 And having waked up, he rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, Peace, be stilled; and the wind did lull, and there was a great calm:
40 and he said to them, Why are ye so fearful? how have ye not faith?
41 and they feared a great fear, and said one to another, Who, then, is this, that even the wind and the sea do obey him?
