BEATO chiunque teme il Signore, E cammina nelle sue vie.2 Perciocchè tu mangerai della fatica delle tue mani; Tu sarai beato, ed egli ti sarà bene.3 La tua moglie sarà dentro della tua casa Come una vigna fruttifera; I tuoi figliuoli saranno d’intorno alla tua tavola, Come piante novelle di ulivi.4 Ecco, certamente così sarà benedetto L’uomo che teme il Signore.5 Il Signore ti benedirà di Sion; E tu vedrai il bene di Gerusalemme Tutti i giorni della tua vita;6 E vedrai i figliuoli de’ tuoi figliuoli. O the happiness of every one fearing Jehovah, Who is walking in His ways.2 The labour of thy hands thou surely eatest, Happy [art] thou, and good [is] to thee.3 Thy wife [is] as a fruitful vine in the sides of thy house, Thy sons as olive plants around thy table.4 Lo, surely thus is the man blessed who is fearing Jehovah.5 Jehovah doth bless thee out of Zion, Look, then, on the good of Jerusalem, All the days of thy life,6 And see the sons of thy sons!
